Historique/Historic
L’Association Internationale des Critiques Littéraires (nom porté entre 1969 et 2003) a connu de riches heures sous la férule d’Yves Gandon (président entre 1969 et 1975), puis du romancier français Robert André (président de 1975 à 2001). Des congrès et colloques importants ont eu lieu dans de nombreux pays :

Le décès de Robert André (Président de l’A.I.C.L.) a ouvert, en 2001, une période de transition sans structures ni élections réellement bien définies. Il y eut néanmoins quelques organisations :

The death of Robert André (President of the A.I.C.L) opened, in 2001, a transition period without structure or actually elections well defined. There was nevertheless some organizations:

Restructuration/Restructuring
La restructuration de l’A.I.C.L. fut définitivement rétablie en 2004 autour de statuts démocratiques grâce au Professeur Daniel Leuwers (président depuis 2004, enseignant-chercheur et écrivain) qui lui donna un nouveau souffle. L’Association Internationale de la Critique Littéraire a donc été créée officiellement le 15 octobre 2004 (déclaration parue le 6 novembre 2004 au Journal Officiel des Associations) et enregistrée sous le numéro W372008640. De ce fait, elle s’est substituée à l’Association Internationale dite des Critiques Littéraires dont la dissolution fut prononcée le 12 novembre 2004 et notifiée dans le Journal Officiel des Associations le 11 décembre 2004. En définitive, l’Association Internationale de la Critique Littéraire (loi de 1901) est une organisation non gouvernementale accréditée auprès de l’U.N.E.S.C.O. (catégorie B) depuis 1971 et inscrite sur le site http://www.unesco.org/culture (puis tapez « AICL » dans la case « rechercher »). Elle n’a pas retrouvé son siège social à l’Hôtel de Massa, 38 rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques à Paris (XIVe), siège initial de l’A.I.C.L. fondée le 17 mai 1969 à l’initiative de l’écrivain français Yves Gandon. Depuis 2004, elle est accueillie dans les locaux de l’Université François Rabelais de Tours, 3 rue des Tanneurs, site Anatole France, BP 4103, 37041 Tours cedex 1.
L’Association Internationale de la Critique Littéraire regroupe des critiques littéraires, journalistes et universitaires du monde entier, et vise à défendre et promouvoir cette activité essentielle souvent dévoyée par les dérives médiatiques. L’Association accueille également des créateurs, dans la mesure où, depuis Baudelaire (et peut-être même depuis Diderot), un pont a été jeté entre la création et la réflexion sur la création. L’Association a des adhérents de tous les pays du monde.
The restructuring of the A.I.C.L. definitively was reestablished in 2004 around democratic statutes thanks to the Professor Daniel Leuwers (president since 2004, Teaching researcher and writer) that gave to him a new breath. The International Association of the Literary Critic has therefore created summer officially october 15th 2004 (appeared declaration november 6th 2004 to the Official Newspaper of the Associations) and recorded under the number W372008640. Les demandes sont à effectuer auprès du Président (leuwers@univ-tours.fr), du Secrétaire (fredericgaeltheuriau@orange.fr), de la Trésorière (rose.4041@orange.fr) ou de tout autre membre de l’A.I.C.L. de votre connaissance qui transmettra.
Les adhésions à L’A.I.C.L. sont fixées à 25 euros par an. Quelques aménagements financiers sont prévus pour les pays étrangers dont le niveau de vie est inférieur à celui de la France.
